2007: One of only two players to start all 51 games (Cory Morales)... Named to the Division I All-Independent First-Team... Was second among everyday players with a .321 batting average, leading the club with 42 RBI and second with four stolen bases... Hit a team-best .337 with runners on base and reached base safely in 28 of the final 29 games of the year.
2006: Played in and started 47 games, seven at second base and the final 40 games of the season at shortstop... Shared the team lead in stolen bases (7)... Set a new single-season NC record, getting hit by 17 pitches, which also ranked 20th nationally (0.36/game)... Named Division I Independent Newcomer of the Week after hitting .571 (8-for-14) with five runs, two doubles, a home run, four RBI, a .929 slugging percentage against Air Force and Utah Valley State... had a game-winning two-RBI double in the sixth inning at No. 2 Nebraska (Mar. 28) in the Bears 5-2 upset.
2005: Redshirted.
2004 (at Western Nebraska CC): Hit .311 with 53 hits, 38 runs, nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 21 RBI... Also stole a team-high 22 bases.
High School: 2003 graduate of Smoky Hill... Played both infield, outfield and pitched... Team captain of both football and baseball his senior season... All-conference pick as both a junior and senior... Was a wide receiver, where he was also an all-conference pick... Named United States Marine Corp Athlete of the Year in 2003.
