Recap |  Final Stats |  Notes

Head Coach Jamie White
"I felt like we had to play our best game tonight to beat Portland State. They've been hot lately. We didn't hit on all cylinders. I'm proud of our kids for not giving up. We kept coming back, and coming back. Portland State's outside scoring was tough. (Katia Hadj-Hamou) hit some shots we didn't think she would hit. Other than that, our year was unbelievable. It wasn't anything we wanted (to lose Thursday), but it was a great year. I don't want this game to take away from what our kids did this year."

On battling cancer this year and missing six games because of treatment.
I missed the first trip up here and that was a bummer. I missed six games total. I'm young in my career and my team was doing well. You're excited. You want to be with your team and can't be, which was hard. I had great assistant coaches who stepped up. Being here at the conference tournament was huge. I tried to rearrange all my treatments. My doctors hate me, but that's how it goes. I wanted to be part of the team.

Danielle Hagen

On the season
"I never thought I'd have such a good senior year, personally and as a team. I never knew we had such a great team who worked so hard. None of us had played together at the beginning of the season. We came a long way. I never thought it would end this way."

On tying school record with 37 points
"It hasn't hit me quite yet. I'm still pretty excited. I'd have much rather won the game. It's something I appreciate."
